Independent MATLAB aerospace and scientific-computing project for simulating planetary motion across the Solar System.
I developed an interactive interface that lets users select a planet, choose among numerical integrators—including ODE45, ODE113, ODE15s, and ODE23—and compare heliocentric and geocentric models. The tool calculates and visualizes orbital parameters such as eccentricity, semi-major axis, perihelion, aphelion, period, energy, angular momentum, and areal velocity.
I validated a Jupiter case study against NASA Horizons data and achieved less than 0.1% deviation. The project demonstrates numerical-method selection, model validation, interface development, error analysis, and clear visualization of aerospace simulation results.
